Our joint proposal for initial funding for a Knowledge Graph Infrastructure for NFDI (KGI4NFDI) Base Service has been accepted.
The project aims to provide an infrastructure that allows (decentralized) access of Knowledge Graph-based projects in the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) ecosystem.
KGI4NFDI holds a registry about Knowledge Graph (KG) projects and allows federated access to their underlying collections. It offers support and consultation towards aspects such as terminology or ontology alignment, FAIR data principles, etc.
The corresponding documentation and partner expertise will be of great value for standards-based practices for KG adoption within NFDI. The project also showcases how to complement and align with similar initiatives outside the NFDI network.
