NFDI4DS recently signed the position paper of the Data and Digital Science Community (DaDiSC).
The position paper on the future of the Data and Digital Science Community highlights the growing importance of data and digital science across many academic disciplines. Due to digitalization and new technologies, increasingly large amounts of data are becoming available and are being used in both research and teaching.
Effective research data management is indispensable for data-driven research to ensure that data are collected, documented, stored, shared, and reused in a structured and responsible way. NFDI4DS supports transparency, reproducibility, and long-term accessibility of research data in the field of data science and artificial intelligence.
