The NFDI4DS Gateway provides a powerful, federated search interface for discovering resources. Designed to streamline access to a wide range of scholarly content, it serves as a central entry point for the NFDI4DS community. In its current version, the Gateway enables users to efficiently search across multiple repositories for publications, datasets, models, and benchmark results.

Its functionality is supported by key components: API Orchestration for keyword searches across different scholarly repositories (DBLP, OpenAlex, IEEE, GESIS, RESODATE, WIKIDATA, Zenodo, GEPRIS, CORDIS, ELG, and ORCiD), Mapping, and Aggregation for harmonizing naming variations in retrieved results using a customized faceted taxonomy based on schema.org. This taxonomy unifies different entities found in data sources, facilitating aggregation and presentation of search results by mapping varied terminology and structures.

In addition to the existing search results, a new RAG-based Question Answering (QA) system has been integrated into the service.
